Warehouse Operative

Location: Rochdale

Hours: 40 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:50pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:40pm

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately processed and dispatched while maintaining high standards of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders using handheld scanning equipment
• Assembling and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading containers and vehicles
• Conducting quality checks on products and orders
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Supporting other warehouse functions as required
• Undertaking cross-training in other departments to provide cover during holidays and absences

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Desirable

• Previous warehouse experience
• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
