Production Operative Vacancy – Manchester

We are recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Production Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing operation in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced production environment and is keen to learn and develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery (full training provided)

• Feeding materials into machines and supporting production lines

• Quality checking finished products

• General production and housekeeping duties

• Manual handling and some heavy lifting

• Loading/unloading materials as required

Shifts

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm

• Friday: 6:00am – 11:00am

Requirements

• Previous production or manual handling experience (preferred but not essential)

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

• Ability to work with urgency and follow production processes

• Willingness to learn how to set and operate machinery

Pay

The role will start at minimum wage, increasing once you can demonstrate the ability to set and run the machine independently without supervision.
