Are you an organised Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or Project Support professional looking to build your career on major construction projects?
Our client, a well-established main contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across the UK, is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator to support its expanding project delivery team.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued business growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that can offer long-term career stability, exposure to high-value projects and genuine opportunities for progression.
Working closely with Project Managers, commercial teams and site teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently through excellent coordination, communication and document management.
The Role
As Project Coordinator, you'll be responsible for keeping projects organised, maintaining accurate project documentation and supporting the successful delivery of multiple live construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of construction projects.
- Managing project documentation using document management systems, including Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Producing reports, trackers and project documentation using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Attending project and client meetings, taking minutes and monitoring action points.
- Coordinating information, resources and materials across project teams.
- Maintaining project records, document control processes and filing systems.
- Liaising with internal departments, clients and site teams to ensure projects remain on track.
- Providing administrative and project support throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and thrives on keeping projects running smoothly.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Project Support Coordinator, Document Controller or similar.
- Experience within construction, building services, engineering, M&E, infrastructure or data centre projects.
- Experience using a document management system, with Autodesk Construction Cloud experience highly desirable.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with project teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
Why Apply?
- Join a busy and growing contractor with a strong reputation in the data centre sector.
- Be part of a business with a secure pipeline of projects and long-term career opportunities.
- Work on some of the UK's most exciting and technically complex construction projects.
- Develop your skills within a collaborative and supportive project team.
- Gain exposure to high-profile clients and large-scale project delivery.
- Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business continues to grow.
If you're looking for your next challenge as a Project Coordinator, Construction Project Administrator, Project Support Coordinator or Document Controller, we'd love to hear from you.
