We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aftercare Manager to join our construction team. The Aftercare Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the post-construction activities, ensuring that all aspects of project completion, defect resolution, and client satisfaction are achieved. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.


Project Completion:

Coordinate and manage the transition of projects from construction to the post-construction phase.
Conduct thorough inspections of completed projects to identify any defects or outstanding issues.
Create and maintain a comprehensive punch list for all completed projects, ensuring all items are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure all necessary documentation and warranties are provided to clients upon project completion.

Defect Resolution:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding post-construction issues and concerns.
Investigate and assess reported defects or issues, coordinating with appropriate stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to schedule and oversee necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure that all defect resolutions are completed within agreed timelines and meet quality standards.

Client Communication and Satisfaction:

Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on defect resolution progress and address any additional concerns.
Actively seek feedback from clients to gauge satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and ensure a positive overall experience.
Resolve any client complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed their expectations.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all post-construction activities, including defect reports, repair schedules, and client communications.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on defect resolution progress and client satisfaction to the management team.
Analyze data and identify trends or recurring issues, recommending process improvements or corrective actions as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with the construction team to provide feedback and insights regarding recurring defects or issues, facilitating continuous improvement.
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure a seamless transition from construction to aftercare.
Provide guidance and support to team members involved in defect resolution activities.


5+ years experience at Aftercare Manager level
Main contracting background
Proven experience in construction project management, preferably with a focus on post-construction activities.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficient in using project management software and tools.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to construction and defect resolution.
