Our client are a leading fitout and refurbishment company specializing in cafes, bars, restaurants, and commercial spaces. They are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and oversee our projects nationwide.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of fitout and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple fitout and refurbishment projects from conception to completion. Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is progressing as planned and to address any issues that may arise. Review and approve all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications. Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met on site. Liaise with the design and estimating teams to ensure that project requirements are understood and met. Provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role, within the Leisure sector ideally. Proven track record of successful project delivery, on time and within budget. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. Willingness to travel nationwide, as required.
