Job description

Contracts Manager-Office based in the North West-Visiting sites-Regional Work

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Company Car

Qualifications: NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction, SMSTS, CSCS Gold or CSCS Black Card

Experience: NHS projects, fit-out and refurbishment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Management: Develop, issue, and regularly update construction programmes to align with client objectives and contractual obligations.

     

  • Project Delivery: Proactively manage construction activities by engaging stakeholders, gathering essential information, and ensuring projects progress smoothly and are completed on schedule.

     

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to all relevant Health & Safety legislation across sites. Promptly report any incidents, accidents, or breaches to senior management.

     

  • Audit & Legal Compliance: Ensure all sites maintain legal compliance and consistently achieve audit scores above 90%.

     

  • CDM Regulations: Uphold full compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015, ensuring clients and designers meet their statutory duties.

     

  • Site Setup Standards: Oversee site setups-including offices, welfare facilities, and signage-to meet company standards.

     

  • Communication: Ensure timely and effective communication of project information to site teams, stakeholders, and office staff.

     

  • Progress Reporting: Deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders and directors, including photographic updates and annotated programme timelines.

     

  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and consistent documentation both on-site and within company systems (servers/cloud), ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.

     

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and uphold high-quality standards across all sites in line with company expectations.
