About Us: A well-established main contractor with a diverse portfolio of projects specializing in refurbishments and new builds. Projects encompass a wide range of sectors, including Leisure & Retail, Industrial & Commercial, Professional, Education, Healthcare, and New Build Homes. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team.
Estimator Responsibilities: Utilize your extensive experience (minimum 5 years) to estimate costs effectively. Specialize in refurbishments, particularly in warehouses and offices. Regularly visit project sites to ensure accurate pricing. Collaborate with the project team to provide competitive tenders. Manage project budgets and costs. Primarily office-based role (approximately 70%), with regular site visits (approximately 30%). Conduct site visits. Work closely with the quantity surveyor and other team members.
Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating. Strong understanding of construction practices, particularly refurbishments. Knowledge of a range of sectors, including warehouses, offices, and others. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Availability for reasonable out-of-hours interviews and in-office interviews.
