Legal Secretary - Private Client | Shrewsbury | Leading Legal 5000 Regional Firm

A highly respected law firm with a strong presence across Shropshire and the North West is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their prestigious Private Client team based in Shrewsbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support a team renowned for its expertise in private client work, including inheritance and capital gains tax planning, trust management, and the preparation of tax-efficient wills. The team is ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, reflecting the high calibre of work and client base.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality secretarial support to partners, solicitors, and consultants

Produce and process legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and efficiency

Manage fee earner diaries and coordinate appointments

Handle telephone enquiries and liaise with clients professionally

Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying

Requirements:

Previous experience in a legal secretarial role, ideally within a private client department

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Strong communication skills and a confident, team-oriented approach

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
