The businesses is rooted in the Wilmslow area, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join our team. Job Description: As a Management Accountant, you will be essential to our financial operations, providing accurate financial information and analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our management team to ensure the financial health and efficiency of our businesses.
Key Responsibilities: * Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. * Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to assist in business decision-making. * Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis. * Process Improvement: Oversee and enhance financial processes and controls. * Liaison: Work with external accountants on year-end financial statements and tax compliance. * Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operations. * Strategy Development: Assist in creating financial strategies and business plans. * Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
Qualifications & Experience: * Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA * Experience: Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a small business environment. * Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Proficiency in Sage and Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. * Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
