Job description
My Client is one of the largest manufacturers and distributers of desserts and speciality foods in the UK. Based from their manufacturing site in Manchester a verity of fresh and frozen foods to clients across the UK.
We are looking for a qualified bakery mixer to join our amazing team.
Mixer Responsibilities include:
*Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cakes.
*Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
*Keeping records relating to inventory, ingredient quality and production levels.
*To produce baked goods such as brownies, scones, sponge cakes etc to company recipe
*To be able to meet company standards and production expectations after training
*To be able to understand and operate equipment such as mixers, sheeters, depositors and oven
*To be conscious and proactive regarded health and safety
Candidates must show:
*Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
*Basic math skills
*Ability to maintain our high-quality standards
*Strong communication, time management, and planning skills.
*Awareness of and willingness to follow strict health and safety rules
*Ability to work unsupervised
The hours of work are usually 07:00am to 15:30pm Monday to Friday, however this can vary so flexibility will be required.
