Battery Maintenance Engineer

Time Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a family run business who has been in operation for almost a century.
With an annual turnover of more than £400 million they are looking to expand the mobile division and are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Battery Maintenance Engineer to join the team and cover the North West.
Job Summary:
To provide a professional service to the Company's customers in respect of the maintenance, installation and repair of Hoppecke's products, and related third party equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Primarily to carry out maintenance activities on batteries and chargers, this would include cleaning, topping, draining and related work.
* May also be called upon to assist with:
o Installation and repair of other manufacturers products.
o Commission and check batteries and chargers on customer sites and brief the customer on the practical use and maintenance of the equipment
o Assist in the delivery and collection of the Company's products and supplies
o Assist in the installation of battery charging areas in co-operation with sub- contractors
* Submit legible completed job sheets to allow for accurate invoicing
Experience and Attributes:
* Good practical hands on skills, in any field
* Good attention to detail and an orderly approach to completing jobs
* Strong customer service focus
* Ability to build effective working relationships with customers
* Ability to complete job sheets in a timely manner and to the required standard
* Effective communicator with both colleagues and customers
Knowledge, Training and Qualifications if required:
* Knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements, in particular Duty of Care in relation to own H & S needs.
* Knowledge of health and safety requirements when working on/at customer sites.
* Training will be provided in relation of core job tasks.
