Our client, a leading manufacturer of vacuum formed packaging based in Stockport, is currently seeking a versatile and skilled individual to join their team as an FLT Reach and Counterbalance driver. In addition to operating the forklift truck, the successful candidate will be responsible for running the machine, packing the finished products into boxes, and assembling boxes as required.
Responsibilities:
* Operate the FLT Reach and Counterbalance trucks efficiently and safely. * Run the machine to produce high-quality vacuum formed packaging. * Pack finished products into boxes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. * Assemble boxes as needed for packaging purposes. * Understand and follow instructions provided by supervisors. * Maintain accurate records and keep track of numbers. * Work independently and effectively without constant supervision.
Requirements:
* Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance license. * Experience in operating both Reach and Counterbalance trucks. * Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred. * Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately. * Strong numerical skills to keep track of quantities and measurements. * Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Self-motivated and capable of working unsupervised. * Excellent time management and organizational skills.
