About the Role
My client are seeking experienced Site Managers to join upcoming fast track retail fit-out projects across the South West and South East. These projects include high street retail units and retail park developments, delivered at pace and to high standards.
This is a site-based role, focused on supervising works, ensuring compliance, and monitoring progress rather than hands-on construction.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety management: Oversee site safety, complete paperwork, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Supervision: Monitor subcontractors and trades on site, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Progress tracking: Report on project milestones, identify risks, and maintain schedules.
Coordination: Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to keep works on track.
Site presence: Maintain a strong presence on site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Candidate Requirements
Background: Trade background with proven site management experience.
Sector experience: Previous work on retail fit-out or fast track commercial projects is essential.
Organisation: Ability to manage paperwork, compliance, and site supervision effectively.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on a 12-on / 2-off rotation, with breaks between jobs.
Location: Based in the South West or South East, with flexibility to travel to sites across the UK (primarily southern regions).
Professionalism: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
