Senior Care Coordinator

£35,000 per annum / Warrington & Stockport Area

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Coordinator to join a growing domiciliary care team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced care environment and is ready to take the next step toward a more people‑focused, HR‑aligned career path.

What You'll Be Doing as Senior Care Coordinator 

As a Senior Care Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring high‑quality care is delivered to people in their own homes. You'll support the smooth running of the service and the training of 2 care coordinators while taking on additional responsibilities that prepare you for future progression into HR, compliance, or operational leadership.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily care schedules and ensuring all visits are covered safely and efficiently

     

  • Supporting care staff with guidance, problem‑solving and day‑to‑day leadership

     

  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, families and external professionals

     

  • Managing urgent changes, responding to incidents and ensuring continuity of care

     

  • Completing care assessments, reviews and quality checks

     

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

     

  • Assisting with recruitment tasks such as interviewing, onboarding and training

     

  • Supporting HR‑related duties including staff supervision, performance monitoring and wellbeing initiatives

     

What We're Looking For in a Senior Care Coordinator 

You'll be a great fit if you are:

  • Experienced in domiciliary care coordination or a similar role

     

  • Confident managing schedules, staff and client needs

     

  • Calm under pressure and able to make quick, safe decisions

     

  • Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively

     

  • A strong communicator with a supportive leadership style

     

  • Passionate about delivering excellent care and developing others

     

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience in care coordination

     

  • Strong understanding of CQC expectations

     

  • Good IT and administrative skills (Usage of People Planner)

     

  • Full UK driving licence
