Assembly Engineer

£13.50 to £14.50 per hour
Monday to Thursday (4 day week)
7am to 4.45pm

Time Recruitment are currently working with an industry leading engineering company based locally to central Stockport. This is a great opportunity for the right assembly engineer to join a company with a great reputation and that allows the opportunity to expand on mechanical knowledge. The successful candidate must be able to work to engineering drawings and be comfortable working with power tools. Previous experience working in an assembly/engineering environment would be essential. General duties will include:

• Working to engineering drawings to manufacture parts correctly
• Quality inspection on finished work.
• Working with hand and power tools
• Supporting other engineers where necessary
• Building machinery from drawings
• Maintain a safe and clean environment

The successful candidate must:

• Have experience in a manufacturing environment
• Be able to work in a team and individually
• Good written and verbal communications
• Have good time keeping and attitude towards work
