About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join our busy and growing claims team in Morley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background in property and liability claims, who is ready to take on a varied caseload and work closely with clients and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a range of commercial claims, primarily EL/PL, property, and motor
Conduct desktop investigations and attend site visits when required
Maintain an efficient diary system and chase claims progress as needed
Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve queries
Produce claims reports and management information (MI)
Present claims information to clients and attend meetings when required
Ensure complex claims are managed in line with company procedures
Keep personal CPD up to date and maintain a strong working knowledge of Acturis
Requirements
Solid experience in property and liability claims handling
Strong understanding of insurance law, policy wording, and current case law
Excellent investigation and analytical skills
Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
Highly organised with strong time management
Cert CII or working towards (preferred)
Familiarity with Acturis (desirable) and Microsoft Office tools
