Deputy Home Manager 

Salary: £24.50 per hour

Location: Stourport-on-Severn

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours/week (Mixed Clinical & Supernumerary)

️ Shifts: 2 shifts clinical, 2 shifts supernumerary 

-     Clinical: 7am-7pm

-     Supernumerary: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

 

About The Service:

 

The service is a beautifully restored Grade II listed care home nestled in the heart of Stourport-on-Severn. The service has has undergone extensive refurbishments, including a stunning lounge and dining area makeover in 2024. With a capacity of 48 beds (currently 24-25 occupied), they pride themselves on delivering exceptional care in a warm, welcoming environment.

 

‍⚕️ The Deputy Home Manager role:

 

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Home Manager (RGN) to join this dedicated and experienced team. You'll play a pivotal role in leading clinical excellence, supporting residents, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations when the Home Manager is unavailable.

 

Key Responsibilities as a Deputy Home Manager:

 

-     Lead and coach nurses and carers to deliver outstanding clinical care

-     Support residents holistically, promoting well-being and independence

-     Create, implement, and audit person-centered care plans

-     Maintain high standards of care and governance in the manager's absence

 

✅ What We're Looking For in a Deputy Home Manager: 

 

-     Valid NMC pin and RGN qualification with strong clinical skills

-     Proven leadership experience in a care setting

-     Passion for high-quality care and continuous improvement

-     Experience in elderly care, dementia, or end-of-life support

-     Familiarity with PCS electronic care planning system (essential)

-     Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored care plans

-     (Desirable) Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
