Job Title: Assistant Commercial Manager

Location: Oxford

Salary: Up to £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Start Date: Immediate, to coincide with a handover period

We are currently seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager to join our team and provide vital support across the wider group.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Commercial Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial Director and collaborating with various stakeholders. This office-based position involves a variety of tasks, ensuring that commercial processes run smoothly and efficiently. Occasional site visits may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Commercial Director in daily tasks and strategic initiatives.
Meet with designers to understand their requirements and ensure they are effectively communicated and actioned.
Follow up on meetings and ensure that action items are completed in a timely manner.
Assist in managing commercial processes across the wider group.
Prepare reports and presentations for the Commercial Director.
Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and financial reports.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Prepare expense reports and manage budgeting for executive-related activities.
Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, managing files, and maintaining office organization.
Assist in project management tasks, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely completion.

Requirements:
Experience in a commercial assistant or support role, preferably within the construction sector.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Understanding of commercial processes and project management.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:
Background in construction, energy, or fit-out of commercial and office spaces is desirable.
MS suite proficient.
Relevant degree or professional qualification.
