With a strong order book and new clients onboarded, they are expanding their team to support the delivery of high-quality construction projects. Role Overview:

The Commercial Assistant will play a key role in supporting the commercial team with a wide variety of administrative tasks, financial duties, and logistical coordination. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and a proactive attitude, helping to ensure smooth operations across fit-out and refurbishment projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination: Organize and arrange logistics for materials, supplies, and hotel bookings for project teams as required.

Material and Supply Ordering: Place orders for materials and supplies needed for projects, ensuring timely delivery and stock management.

Financial Support: Assist with financial accounts, including tracking expenses, invoicing, and supporting the budgeting process for projects.

Administrative Support: Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, document preparation, and maintaining project records.

Project Support: Assist with the coordination of fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring smooth operation from start to finish.

Client Communication: Help liaise with clients and suppliers, maintaining strong working relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

Construction Background: Ideally, experience within the construction or retail fit-out industry, although not essential.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, arrange logistics, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial accounts and the ability to support budgeting and invoicing processes.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external clients and suppliers.

Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in ordering materials, handling accounts, and managing logistics.

Proactive and Energetic: Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and support the team in ensuring projects run smoothly.
