Job Description: My client are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee new build and refurbishment projects within the healthcare and education sectors. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects with values ranging from £2M to £10M, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities: - Lead the planning and implementation of contract requirements. - Monitor compliance with construction regulations and safety standards. - Negotiate terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. - Manage project financials, including budgeting and cost control. - Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders. - Provide regular progress reports to senior management. - Oversee a team of project managers and other construction staff.
Requirements: - Proven experience in new build and refurbishment projects, specifically within the healthcare and education sectors. (Not House Building) - A strong background with a main contractor is essential. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Familiarity with the latest industry regulations and standards.
