On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance licence to cover Dangerous Goods shipping orders.

Duties:

Picking and Reconciliation:
Picking and reconciling products against pick lists.

Packing and Labelling:

Packing products.
Generating packing lists through Sage.
Labelling packaging.
Dangerous Goods Handling:
Processing Dangerous Goods orders, including certification.

Stock Management:

Meeting packing deadlines for daily collections.
Moving expiring stock to the quarantined area.
Disposing of expired stock.
Completing daily stock rotation.
Locating stock from the holding area to finished goods daily and completing stock records and transfer sheets correctly.
Weekly rotation of products for impending orders, creating capacity for replenish stock.
Weekly spot checks and movement to cage for low quantity products, helping to increase capacity for replenish stock.

Quality Control:

Identifying any damaged goods and reporting to Quality Assurance.
Completing Qplus records.

Housekeeping:

Ensuring all areas are kept clean and free of potential hazards.
Continuous Improvement:
Assisting in the development of the department by suggesting ideas and helping with implementation.

Equipment Management:
Reporting any operating failures to equipment.
Annual Stock Check:
Assisting in the planning and successful completion of the annual stock check.

Skills Required:

Dangerous Goods Experience: Essential
FLT Counterbalance Licence: Essential
Shipping Experience: Essential
This is a temporary role with an immediate start. It may become permanent for the right candidate.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Total: 37 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £13.00 - £13.51 per hour, depending on experience.
