We are a leading main contractor specialising in high-spec office fit-out projects across CAT A and CAT B works. With a strong focus on quality and collaboration, we are committed to exceeding client expectations on every project.
Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team and seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of prestigious projects, working alongside a highly skilled and supportive QS team.
Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for cost control, procurement, and the financial management of high-quality office fit-out projects.
You will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and estimators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of office, site, and remote working.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation:
Engage with clients from project inception through to completion, providing expert cost advice and tailored solutions.
- Design Liaison:
Work closely with design teams to interpret designs and ensure alignment with cost plans and client requirements.
- Estimating Coordination:
Liaise with estimating teams to develop and maintain accurate budgets and cost plans.
- Cost Management:
Monitor project costs, manage cash flow, and implement effective cost control measures.
- Contract & Procurement Management:
Support procurement processes, manage contracts, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value for money.
- Project Oversight:
Spend three days per week on-site or in the office to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve issues proactively.
- Team Collaboration:
Report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and work collaboratively within an experienced QS team.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within office fit-out projects (CAT A & CAT B)
- Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and contract management
- Ability to provide expert commercial advice to clients
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
