Position: Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Location: Potters Bar EN6
Salary: Up to £38,000 + Welcome Bonus
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is seeking a skilled RMN to join their team in Potters Bar, where you'll provide care to young people and adults with acute mental health conditions and personality disorders in a well-established 24-hour care setting. The service includes CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services for young individuals aged 13-18.
The facility is conveniently located in a residential area, just a minute's drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station. A bus stop right outside ensures an easy commute.
Key Responsibilities
As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you'll play a critical role in ensuring that young people and adults with acute mental health needs receive top-quality care. You'll also support your colleagues and foster positive teamwork. The wards are active, offering a mix of routine and variety to keep you engaged and motivated.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to service users.
* Overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
* Providing mentorship and support to team members.
* Observing, recording, and reporting changes in service users, while maintaining accurate care records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid nursing qualification.
* NMC registration.
* Strong team-working abilities.
* A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
* A positive, caring, and compassionate attitude.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality care and adhering to values and evidence-based practices.
