Location:

Morley, Leeds (On-site with 1 day WFH flexibility)

Salary:

£30,000 - £32,000 per annum

About the Role:

Are you an experienced claims professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting for a Motor Claims Handler to join a growing team in Morley, Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you'll manage a varied caseload and gain exposure to multiple lines of insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage motor claims, with some exposure to property and liability claims
  • Ensure all claims are handled efficiently and in line with service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs
  • Maintain a clear and up-to-date diary system to track claim progress
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve queries
  • Handle complex claims in accordance with company procedures
  • Produce claims reports and management information (MI) as required
  • Attend client meetings and present claims updates when needed
  • Keep your knowledge and CPD up to date, including use of Acturis

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in claims handling
  • Strong knowledge of motor claims; experience with property or liability is a bonus
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using claims systems and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications required
