Job description
Mt client, based in Stalybridge, requires Packing operations for a world leading development company.
As a Packing Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient packaging and shipment of our high-quality paint, varnish, and stain application solutions. Your attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality will contribute to their reputation as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
* Safely and accurately package products according to established guidelines and procedures. * Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
* Inspect finished goods for quality control purposes, identifying and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
* Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Assist with inventory management, including counting and restocking supplies as needed.
* Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient packing processes.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in packing, assembly line work, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
* Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08.00-17.00
* Friday: 08.00-13.00
