My Client is a large card board manufacturer. They manufacture Chipboard and a variety of integrated products such as Cardboard Tubes, Cardboard Edge Protection, Cardboard Layer Pad, Cardboard Sheets and Cardboard Packaging. The require a production operative to work from their manufacturing site based in Romiley, Stockport. Duties will include working on various machines assisting in the manufacture of the card board. Candidates will also be expected to work on a FLT when required and the role will require manual labouring also. Candidates must have a full UK Driving Licence. Candidates will ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment and will have previous experience manual labouring. Candidates will also be trained and gain an FLT RTITB Counter Balance licence. This company operates a shift system across 7 days per week. The two shifts are 36 hours long one week followed by a 48 hour week with each shift being 12 hours. Candidates will be paid 42 hours per week as an average of the two shifts. £12.50 per hour or £137.50 per day for the first 12 weeks. This is a 12 week temp to perm position.
