My Client is one of the largest manufacturers and distributers of desserts and speciality foods in the UK. Based from their manufacturing site in Manchester they produce a variety of fresh and frozen foods to clients across the UK. Their clients include hotel chains, professional sports teams, restaurants and more.
They require an experienced production team leader to join their team and be able to hit the ground running.
Duties will include:
* Allocating work load * checking and recording oven temperatures * weighing/mixing ingredients * assisting colleagues on the production line * Arranging staff rota and staff requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a team leader in a food production environment and computer literate.
The working hours can vary according to production needs but typically it will be 8 hours per day in between 08:00 and 20:00. There will be notice given in relation to this.
The working week is Monday-Friday. There will be a requirement to work 1 Sunday every 6 weeks. This will be on a rota basis.
Pay rate starts at £11.75. Once trained it will go up to £12.50.
