Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester/Greater Manchester, UK
About the Company:
Specializing in Design & Build (D&B) and refurbishment projects, with a focus on residentials, apartments, and bars & leisure spaces. As our project portfolio expands, we are actively seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role will be based both on-site and in the office, with a requirement for a Manchester/Greater Manchester location.
Job Overview:
We are looking for an intermediate-level Project Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable working on-site and in the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for various project-related duties, including monthly applications, subcontractor management, reporting to the Senior QS, and client liaison.
Responsibilities:
Monthly Applications: Prepare and submit accurate monthly applications for payment.
Subcontractor Management: Manage and liaise with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Quantity Surveyor on project financials and progress.
Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients to address any queries and ensure satisfaction.
On-Site Presence: Regular on-site presence to oversee and manage project costs effectively.
Project Types: Work on a variety of projects, including D&B, refurbishments, residentials, apartments, bars, and leisure spaces.
Location: Manchester/Greater Manchester-based, with all project sites within Greater Manchester.
Qualifications:
Intermediate level of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Previous exposure to D&B and refurbishment projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Package:
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000.
