About the Company: Specializing in fit-out and refurbishment projects. We are currently looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor & a Senior Quantity Surveyor due to our company's continued growth. Our portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, with a primary focus on fit-out and refurbishment, including occasional Design and Build (D&B) projects involving Data Centers, Cleanrooms, Labs, Battery Plants, and Pharmaceuticals.
Job Overview: We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects. The ideal candidates will have expertise in fit-out and refurbishment, as well as experience in managing projects involving Data Centers, Cleanrooms, Labs, Battery Plants, and Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects, as well as occasional D&B projects. Project Values: Handle projects with values ranging from £100K to £5Mil for labs, and £25Mil for Battery Plants, with a significant project lined up for £50Mil in the new year. Steel Works: Demonstrate expertise in steel works, with a focus on cost estimation and project management. Contract Knowledge: Utilize strong knowledge and application of JCT contracts. CAT A & B: While not essential, experience in CAT A & B works is ideal. Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, and contractors to ensure project success.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit-out and refurbishment projects. Knowledge and application of JCT contracts. Experience in steel works is essential. Familiarity with CAT A & B works is ideal.
