Salary: £50,000 - £68,000 (DOE)

We are a leading Fast Track Retail Main Contractor specializing in retail and leisure fit-out projects. Our client base includes high-profile brands and high street names.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to join our team in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fit-out, taking a project from the estimating stage through sub-contractor procurement, cost management, to final account settlement, effectively taking total financial control of the project.

Responsibilities:
Turnkey Commercial Role: Manage the entire commercial process of fast-track retail and leisure fit-out projects.
Estimating: Develop accurate and competitive estimates for project bids.
Sub-Contract Procurement: Oversee the procurement of sub-contractors, ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.
Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budget adherence.
Final Account: Ensure the successful financial closure of projects.
Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in the fit-out sector, specifically in retail and leisure projects.
Location: Must be within an hour's commute of our West Midland Office.
Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fast-track project environments.
Professional Background: Fit Out and Retail Fit Out background.
