Registered Manager
Location: Manchester, M31
Monday to Friday working pattern with on-call duties
Salary ranges from £28,000

Our Client is Manchester based and they have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager at one of their Residential Children's Homes.
The service is registered to care for the welfare of children and young people aged 8-18 with learning difficulties and autism.
They have grown considerably as a service provider and work hard to provide the best full-time care and rehabilitation for children and young people aged 10 to 18 years of age, with challenging behaviour, complex needs, and children on the periphery of offending.
They are looking for a registered manager to join an already established team. They can offer a competitive salary, career and training development and fantastic working conditions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Adhering to Cornerstone Children's Homes' Vision, Missions, and Values.
* Implementing an outcome monitoring approach to assist young people in achieving their goals.
* Serving as a Registered Manager to maintain registration standards, as required by Ofsted and Quality Standards.
* Contributing to service development, modernization, and organizational objectives.
* Promoting a high standard of care environment for young people.
* Involvement in staff recruitment, induction, and ensuring equal opportunities.
* Overseeing individual staff development and training, in collaboration with the Responsible Individual.
* Implementing 'in-house' training programs aligned with Quality Standards.
* Ensuring staff familiarity with organizational procedures, regulations, and standards.
* Mentoring and supporting Residential Childcare Workers.
* Handling various managerial, administrative, financial, and health and safety duties.

Must Have's
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
* Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
* Previous experience as a registered manager in a residential children's home, specialising in LD and Autism.
* Full UK driving license (with business insurance)
* At least 1 years' team management experience and 2 years' experience of residential services
* Able to build and maintain trust and rapport with children and staff
* To be a positive role model
* Ability to write clear and accurate reports
* Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS certificate upon appointment
