Our client is a specialist contractor within the modular and permanent structures sector, delivering high-quality construction solutions across the UK. Their Permanent Structures Division is experiencing sustained growth, supported by a strong order book and repeat clients across Healthcare, Education, and Defence.
Role Overview
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key commercial role within the Permanent Structures Division, managing a mix of framework agreements and competitively tendered projects. You will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects, ensuring cost control, value optimisation, and commercial risk management from pre-contract through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of multiple modular construction projects across the UK
- Managing projects secured via frameworks and tenders
- Preparation and management of budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
- Valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts
- Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunities
- Supporting pre-construction and tendering activities where required
- Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure commercial success
- Reporting on project performance to senior management

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction (modular experience advantageous but not essential)
- Experience managing projects from pre-contract to final account
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual management
- Experience working on framework agreements and tendered projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel to UK sites as required
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
