Site Manager - Permanent Position (£45,000+ Package)

Location: North West Projects (Regional Works)

Salary: £42,000 & Company Van or Car Allowance

Overview

A well‑established housing contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North West and Yorkshire is seeking a permanent Site Manager to join their growing team. The business is extremely busy this year and continues to secure long‑term contracts, offering excellent stability and progression for the right candidate.

Scope of Works

The successful Site Manager will oversee a wide range of internal and external works, including:

Internal Works

  • Kitchen installations

     

  • Bathroom installations

     

  • Electrical Testing

     

  • Painting & decorating works

     

  • Door and roofing installations

     

  • Environmental works

     

  • Fire Risk Assesments

     

    Role Responsibilities

     

  • Managing day‑to‑day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

     

  • Coordinating subcontractors and site teams, ensuring smooth workflow and clear communication.

     

  • Overseeing health & safety compliance, carrying out site inspections and maintaining documentation.

     

  • Monitoring project progress, reporting issues, risks, and updates to senior management.

     

  • Ensuring quality standards are met across all stages of construction.

     

  • Managing materials, deliveries, and site logistics efficiently.

     

  • Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

     

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within housing or similar construction sectors.

     

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams of up to 50 people.

     

  • Solid understanding of H&S regulations and site compliance.

     

  • Ability to work across multiple locations within the North West and Yorkshire.

     

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (or equivalent) preferred.
