About the Role:

Due to continued expansion, my client is seeking skilled and experienced MIG Welders to join their growing team based in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established and reputable company in the steel fabrication industry.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30

• Friday: 07:30 – 13:30

• Overtime available and encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

• Carry out steel fabrication and general engineering tasks

• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets

• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health & safety standards

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

• Fully conversant in MIG welding, steel fabrication, and general engineering practices

• Ability to work from technical drawings

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude

• Must be able to reliably commute to Bolton or be planning to relocate before starting work

Salary & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: £14.66 – £15.76 (depending on experience)

• Permanent, full-time position

• Free on-site parking
