Contracts Manager Role-Full time position

Sector: Healthcare, Education, Commercial

Location: North West (Projects are in the North West) 

Reporting to: Senior Operations Lead

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday

Package: £50,000 base + £5,000 car allowance

Overview

This is a hands-on Contracts Manager role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and can take ownership of multiple live projects. The position involves managing several schemes simultaneously-typically 4 projects valued up to £3M, with an average project size of £400K.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage risk, opportunity, and people effectively. 

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Oversee 3-4 live projects at any one time, ranging from £200K-£400K

     

  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

     

  • Operate effectively in live environments, including healthcare properties.

     

  • Maintain a strong presence on site.

     

Communication & Leadership

  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and labour resources

     

  • Drive proactive communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

     

  • Manage your own diary and prioritise workload independently.

     

Risk & Opportunity Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, especially those associated with live healthcare environments.

     

  • Spot opportunities for improvement, value engineering, and programme optimisation.

     

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients across healthcare, education, commercial, and office sectors.

     

  • Navigate the challenges of working in occupied and sensitive environments with professionalism and care.
