Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer‑facing Site Labourer / Site Support Operative to assist with day‑to‑day duties on a live residential project in BS1 4QP. The role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, well‑presented site and is confident interacting politely and professionally with residents or customers.

The successful candidate must be physically fit, punctual, and willing to take on manual tasks such as carrying materials where lift access is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

Site Presentation & Cleanliness

• Hoovering and maintaining clean stairwells and communal areas
• Keeping walkways, access routes, and shared spaces tidy at all times
• Ensuring the overall site is presentable and safe for workers and residents

Manual Handling & Movement of Materials

• Walking down timber frames and other materials manually (lift not currently operational)
• Assisting with general labouring tasks as required by the site team
• Ensuring safe handling and movement of materials in line with site procedures

Customer Interaction

• Being polite, respectful, and approachable when dealing with customers or residents
• Maintaining a professional appearance at all times
• Supporting a positive image of the site and the contractor

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in general labouring or site support (preferred but not essential)
• Physically fit and capable of manual lifting and carrying
• Presentable, polite, and confident interacting with customers
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
