Business Development Team Manager Salary package £60,000 basic, £80K OTE Location - Regional cover - North West England
Main duties of the job
As Lead Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation achieve sales & business objectives.
You will build your own network and customer relationships to drive referrals and grow occupancy/income as well as oversee the management responsibilities of the BDM and Referrals team, ensuring team targets are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overseeing the leadership responsibilities of the Commercial team and supporting the team to achieve individual and business objectives.
Business development responsibilities in own region.
Mentoring and supporting the team with their business development plans and objectives
Leading by example, coaching and leading the team as well as providing constructive feedback
Liaising with the Bid Manager to identify any frameworks/contracts that are required for new areas, you will lead on new service development, identifying tender opportunities, proposal bid writing and overseeing tendering processes.
Proactively working with the marketing team to best support and contribute to business development
Responsible for planning and organising a broad range of complex activities in line with strategies.
Identify new areas for Northern Healthcare to develop new supported living schemes including standard mental health models and learning disability models.
Responsible for identifying and building relationships with key commissioning stakeholders.
Conduct due diligence on new areas to establish demand levels, accommodation requirements, funding levels, referral pathways and competitors.
Production of high-level business cases for new developments for submission to board for review and approval.
Work closely with property partners to provide feedback on target areas for property searches.
In areas where new services are being developed, referral pathways to be clearly identified and liaison with key teams to start building pipeline.
To be an ambassador of Northern Healthcare and represent the organisation positively.
Utilising the use of Salesforce CRM software for sales activity.
To be an active member of the wider business development and marketing team maintaining strong working relationships and collaborative working.
May form part of the executive backup on call
