Joinery Contracts Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Office Based in Greater Manchester UK-based with site visits Travel:

Willing to travel across 2-3 sites Sector: Fast-track retail projects

About the Role

The client are seeking an experienced Joinery Contracts Manager to oversee multiple fast-track retail projects across the UK. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in joinery and fit-out projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Oversee 2-3 retail fit-out sites, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.

Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety regulations.

Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.

Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all joinery work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols and ensure adherence to regulations.

Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively, finding solutions to keep projects on track.

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery contracts management, ideally within fast-track retail projects.

Strong understanding of joinery, fit-out processes, and materials.

Excellent contracts management and organisational skills.

Ability to travel across UK sites as required.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of health & safety regulations in construction.

Ability to work under pressure
