Deputy Home Manager
Location: Erdington, Birmingham
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 - full time
Shift:1x 8.00am - 8.00pm 9.00am - 5.00pm - Monday - Friday - Largley Supernumerary!
Time Recruitment are working with a niche healthcare provider renowned for their longevity of care in the area and being a large player in the local community in their search for a nurse trained Deputy Home Manager.
With 42 residents in total; this is a small well ran service spread across two floors comprising of:
* Ground floor - 14 residents with 12 continuing healthcare patients
* Top floor - 17 residents - Parkinson's and nursing dementia
This recently renovated service has a new manager with exciting development plans for 2022 and is looking for a Deputy Home Manager to assist with this vision, a strong leader with excellent knowledge of elderly care and dementia care.
Your role as a Deputy Home Manager here will be to oversee a team of nurses and several well-trained care staff as part of the senior management team your duties will be:
* To promote clinical excellence
* Keep records and maintain clinical governance such audits
* Manage staff rota's, training and supervisions
* Appraisals and staff allocations
* Manage admissions into the service alongside work with the wider MDT
* CCG and GP liaison
* CQC inspection and preparation
* Assessments and promotion of excellence
The Deputy Home Manager will be fully supernumerary however there will be an expectation to support on shifts if needed, we want a leader to lead from the front and join this family like organisation in achieving outstanding standards of care.
We are looking for a NMC registered nurse to add their clinical expertise to the service; either RGN or RMN trained with experience in elderly care and some leadership experience.
