Deputy Clinical Manager
£21.00 per hour / Full-time, Permanent / 45 hours per week, including alternate weekends

We're seeking a dedicated Deputy Clinical Manager to support the day-to-day delivery of outstanding care in a well-regarded care setting that provides both nursing and dementia services.
As the Deputy Clinical Manager, you'll work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service, taking a hands-on approach to clinical oversight, team leadership, and compliance with care standards.
You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and supported.
What You'll Be Doing as the Deputy Clinical Manager:
Supporting the Home Manager in delivering clinical excellence and person-centred care.
Leading and supervising care teams to ensure high standards of service.
Creating and managing rotas to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, and professionals.
Monitoring care plans and adapting them in line with changing needs.
Stepping in to manage the service during the Manager's absence.
Taking part in audits, care reviews, and quality assurance processes.
Providing clinical support on the floor as needed (day and/or night shifts).
What We're Looking For in the Deputy Clinical Manager:
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Team Leader in a care environment.
A valid nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (NVQ Level 5 is a strong advantage or willingness to work towards it).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting individuals living with dementia.
A passion for empowering staff and improving resident outcomes.
