HOME MANAGER
WHITLEY BAY, NORTHUMERLAND / £55,000 PER ANNUM / PERMANENT

Home Manager required. My client is a provider Nursing, Residential and Dementia Care with 29 homes across the country, committed to the well-being and contentment of all their residents. Currently recruiting for a Home Manager for a service in Whitley Bay, the service is Good in all 5 domains of CQC, is purpose-built for 59 residents and has a skilled and stable team.

Home Manager Position Renumeration:
* £55,000 per annum
* DBS Paid
* Free Uniform, Training and Salary

Home Manager Duties:
* Act as the Registered Manager of the Care Centre.
* Ensure that CQC outcome based quality standards are maintained and drive for continuous improvement at all times
* Ensure compliance with the CQC regulatory requirements.
* Effectively monitor the care planning and on-going evaluation of care
* Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with service users personal and financial affairs to build and maintain trust
* Effectively manage Care Home staff through coaching, mentorship and development to inspire, motivate and lead the team, dealing effectively with performance issues when they arise.
* Assess and maintain the correct number of staff for the Care Centre at any given time through robust rostering and maintenance.
* Be responsible for infection control.
* Recruiting appropriate staff where necessary according to Company procedure.
* Be 'on-call', for emergencies, which may arise within the Care Centre, and to cover shifts if all other avenues have been exhausted.
* Control the ordering and administration of drugs within the Care Centre and maintain the necessary records as and when required by the regulatory authorities.
* Work closely with the Regional Manager, the home administrator and other professional colleagues to ensure high quality standards and maximum efficiency within the designated Care Centre.

Home Manager Position Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with Valid Pin
* Excellent knowledge of all Standards and NMC code of practice
* Proven track record of person-centred care planning
* Experienced leader and mentor
* A passion for delivering high standards of care
* Experience of Home Management in a Manager position
