Location: Canterbury, Kent (Nationwide travel required)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus car allowance and other benefits
Type: Full Time Permanent
Hybrid Working: 1-2 days in the office, with the remainder involving site visits and remote work.
Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, Fire Warden, First Aid (Joiner by trade is desirable)
Additional Requirements: Clean full UK Driving License

This is an excellent opportunity for an intermediate-level Project Manager who has worked with SME Contractors and is eager to advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Meeting clients and end-users on-site Managing up to three projects concurrently Conducting subcontractor meetings and recording minutes Overseeing project timelines and coordinating material deliveries Utilizing MS Projects and Excel for project programming Prioritizing health and safety and risk management Maintaining client engagement and effective communication Collaborating with Site Managers for smooth project delivery Assisting with preconstruction and tendering activities, including client interviews Reporting findings to the commercial team for pricing purposes Cost management for projects ranging from £50K to £150K (with QS involvement for larger projects) Budget and project phasing maintenance for timely, high-quality delivery
Candidate Requirements:
Residing within 1-1.5 hours of Canterbury Willingness to travel nationwide for client meetings, site visits, and subcontractor coordination Background in joinery is advantageous Minimum 5 years of Project Manager experience in construction fit-out and refurbishment projects (up to £5M) Preferably experienced in commercial, retail, and leisure projects Costing experience up to £150K is desirable
