About Us: We are a dynamic sub-contractor currently experiencing significant growth, with a focus on reactive maintenance and externals, including chimneys, oil refineries, power stations, and scaffolding. With a strong presence in the industry, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities: Workload and Tender Vetting: Manage increased workload pressure by assisting with vetting significant tenders. Estimation Support: If capable, assist with takeoffs, applications, and variations. Commercial Management: Ensuring commercial awareness and overseeing the financial aspects of projects. Industry Focus: Specialize in externals, including chimneys, oil refineries, power stations, and scaffolding.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. Ability to assist with estimations is a bonus. Familiarity with the Externals industry and relevant sectors (Chimneys, Oil Refinery's, Power Stations, Scaffolding). Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
Key Attributes: Commercially astute with the ability to understand and adapt to pricing structures. Proactive and capable of managing increased workload pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
