Regional Deputy
Salary: £36,000 per annum + 35p car allowance + 10% bonus
Hours: Full Time - 9am to 5pm
Location: Sleaford (NG34)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Deputy to join a dedicated and passionate care team; based at head office covering 6 of the services in the region.

Leadership & Motivational Skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities for the Regional Deputy role:
Monthly compliance reporting
Training and development of the seniors within the team
Complaints and safeguarding
Pressure sore, DOLS, falls and weights - keeping records up to date
Once per month internal inspections
On call - every 3rd weekend
Improving compliance and care standards
Essential Requirements for the Regional Deputy role:
At least two year's experience in a Deputy Manager or similar within the elderly care home sector
At least one year's experience of providing some training (e.g. manual handling train the trainer, fire safety train the trainer, medication train the trainer, care planning training)
NVQ 3 in Care or equivalent and willing to study for NVQ 5 and/or 7 (or be a registered nurse)
Computer literate (particularly email, excel spreadsheets and word documents)
Driver - happy to work away from home Mon-Fri on a regular basis as and when required
Preferred Requirements for the Regional Deputy role:
Three years experience in a Deputy Manager role within the elderly care home sector; or one years experience in a Compliance role for a group of elderly care homes
