Registered Home Manager

Location: Woodthorpe, Nottingham (NG5)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

About The Service:

This quaint but modern home is a small, independent 25-bed nursing and residential home, part of a close-knit group of three homes in East Midlands. They provide general nursing, dementia care, and palliative/end-of-life support in a warm, person-centred environment.

‍⚕️ The Role of Registered Home Manager: 

We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our dedicated care team. This is a clinically focused role with strong emphasis on governance and quality care, not budget management.

Key Responsibilities for the Registered Home Manager role:

• Oversee a team of 2 nurses and 24 carers
• Lead rota planning and on-call coordination
• Conduct staff supervision and appraisals
• Manage pre-assessments and admissions
• Collaborate with a supportive Area Manager
• Oversee recruitment, induction, and training
• Liaise with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance
• Maintain strong relationships with ICB and CQC
• Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement

Who we are looking for:

• NMC registered nurse 
• Experience of managing a dual registered residential and nursing home 
• Knowledge of clinical governance and auditing 
• Palliative care knowledge - GSF understanding
