Location: Woodthorpe, Nottingham (NG5)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
About The Service:
This quaint but modern home is a small, independent 25-bed nursing and residential home, part of a close-knit group of three homes in East Midlands. They provide general nursing, dementia care, and palliative/end-of-life support in a warm, person-centred environment.
⚕️ The Role of Registered Home Manager:
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our dedicated care team. This is a clinically focused role with strong emphasis on governance and quality care, not budget management.
Key Responsibilities for the Registered Home Manager role:
- Oversee a team of 2 nurses and 24 carers
- Lead rota planning and on-call coordination
- Conduct staff supervision and appraisals
- Manage pre-assessments and admissions
- Collaborate with a supportive Area Manager
- Oversee recruitment, induction, and training
- Liaise with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance
- Maintain strong relationships with ICB and CQC
- Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement

Who we are looking for:
- NMC registered nurse
- Experience of managing a dual registered residential and nursing home
- Knowledge of clinical governance and auditing
- Palliative care knowledge - GSF understanding
