Registered Nurse

Setting: Care Home

Salary: £19.50 (Negotiable) + Paid NMC Pin (Equivalent to £39,520 per annum)

Location: Wednesbury (WS10)

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shifts: Days and Nights

Time Recruitment are leading the search for caring, kind, and compassionate Registered Nurse who is looking for an opportunity for progression and development. The independent provider we are working with has been running the nursing home for over 30 years and looking for RGNs to develop and grow with the business. They are good team that is like a family to each other and love supporting each other while accomplishing their daily objectives.

The Registered Nurse will be supported with a Home Manager who themselves will instruct the successful candidate on their weekly objectives and the clear path to progression within the business.

The home is provider of residential, nursing, dementia, palliative, respite, and physical disability care for up to 30 persons. The offer expert care and support to people with a wide range of conditions such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, heart and chest related problems, reduced mobility, and dementia.

Duties.

* Taking responsibility for the well-being of the residents and making sure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met daily.

* Able to use IT knowledge for documentation, care planning and ensuring all tasks are on record daily.

* Leading the team of staff and ensuring that the workplace is functioning efficiently and that all residents are properly looked after and respected with care and dignity.

* Able to work independently and confident working without support.

* Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.

* Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each of the residents, ensuring that all objectives are met daily.

* Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure that they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation.

RGN Requirements.

* Independent and able lead team

* Initiative and able to think clearly under pressure.

* Excellent comminutor

* Looking for development

* IT knowledgeable and Care plan reviewing.

* Competent knowledge on Medication admissions
