Registered Nurse
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £19.00 per hour + paid breaks + paid handover
Hours: Days or Nights Available - 28 hours on days - 30 hours on nights
Days - 7am to 9pm or 7am to 2pm or 2pm to 9pm
Nights - 9pm to 7am

Time Recruitment is selecting a Registered Nurse for a well-established award winning local home that has been in operation for over 20 years and is a CQC compliant; well organised and successful service.

The service has 30 beds at maximum capacity and caters largely for general nursing/elderly care; palliative care needs they have some dementia with alzheimers but they do not take challenging behaviours so the ideal Registered Nurse will be RGN trained with a valid NMC pin.

General responsibilities for the Registered Nurse role:

- Catheterisation - male and female
- Peg feeding - currently no peg feeds in the service
- Palliative/end of life care
- Syringe driver - can offer training
- Verification of death - can offer training
- Diabetes management
- Wound management
- No mobile dementia residents on site
- Electronic care plans and medication
- Competent in medication ordering
- Safeguarding and risk assessment

As a Registered Nurse here you will be working with the deputy who is a skilled RGN nurse - they have 2 nurses on days and 1 nurse on nights alongside a compliment of long-standing well trained senior care staff.
