Bolton, BL3
Salary: Up to £32,000
Full-time, Office Based
Monday to Friday

Job Summary:
As the Groups Senior Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our Group, overseeing the debt recovery process for all our entities. Operating from our HQ, you will work as part of our wider Group Finance Team, reporting into the Financial Controller, taking full ownership of the cash collection process. You will be responsible for minimising outstanding debt and improving overall cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt Recovery Management:
- Oversee the Group's debt recovery efforts, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debt.
- Develop effective debt recovery strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise collections and reduce bad debt.

Customer Relations:
- Maintain positive relationships with internal Directors / MD's and external clients to facilitate debt recovery while preserving business relationships.

Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate and analyse reports related to accounts receivable, aged debt, and collection performance.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Management on debt recovery status and advise of any potential risk.

Customer Communication:
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments, resolve disputes, and establish payment plans where necessary.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a credit control role is essential; ideally 3+ years of experience.
- Resilient and tenacious attitude.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Strong and natural communicator, with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
