We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Ipswich office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from fit-outs and refurbishments to new builds, and also involves estimating duties such as tendering. Position Overview: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have a multifaceted role that includes project management, estimating, and working on various project types. You will collaborate closely with the Director and Contracts Manager, contributing to the success of our projects. Additionally, you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week while managing your workload and overseeing multiple projects ranging from £70,000 to £3 million in value.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the financial aspects of multiple projects concurrently. Undertake estimating tasks, including tendering. Collaborate closely with the Director and Contracts Manager. Attend site visits and ensure project cost control. Oversee project fit-outs, refurbishments, and new builds.
Qualifications and Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Proficiency in estimating and cost control. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
