Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Location: Office-Based in Stockport (with flexibility) - Remote Working on Occasion and Client/Site Visits as Required

As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to join our team and be an integral part of our success.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Ownership: Take full ownership of the Quantity Surveying and Commercial functions, driving performance, and making the role your own. You'll be an integral part of the business, contributing to growth and success.
Project Management: Manage high-end fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients and the wider project team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication, and attending meetings to represent the company's commercial interests.
Estimating Duties: Support estimating activities when required, assisting in the preparation of tenders and budgets.
2-Stage Procurement: Manage and oversee the procurement process, with experience in 2-stage procurement being highly desirable.
Site & Client Visits: Split your time between the office, site visits, and client meetings. Some flexibility with remote working is offered, but you will need to be in front of clients and on-site regularly.
Hands-On Approach: Embrace a fast-paced, agile working environment with a willingness to get stuck in across all aspects of the business when needed.

Skills & Experience Required:
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management within high-end fit-out or office projects.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience with similar high end and tier 1 fit out companies is highly desirable.
Commercial Expertise: A strong background in commercial management, contract negotiations, and cost control.
2-Stage Procurement: Experience in managing two-stage procurement processes is preferred.
Self-Starter: Ability to hit the ground running, work autonomously, and adapt quickly to changing project demands.
Communication: Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential to build lasting relationships and represent the business confidently.
